Waiting on the tax return to purchase the next batch of parts. Have scouted a sign painter to apply the lettering I've picked out to the frame. Should have some updates in February. Thanks!

This blog follows my restoration and refurbishment of old bicycles into modern, rolling works of art. My emphasis is on taking good, solid steel-framed bikes of years past, and rebuilding them with an eye toward classic styles of the 1920's through 1950's. It will also be a venue for me to tell folks about great craftspeople I encounter along the way. You might also find a few opinions about transportation in general, as well as snippets about life in the Carrboro-Chapel Hill-Durham area.
